We are looking for a highly commercial, entrepreneurial leader who can take full control of the business in Scotland. Reporting directly to the board, you’ll be responsible for executing their ambitious growth vision while respecting the legacy that has made this organisation so successful for over 30 years.

The Candidate

• A business leader, not a shopkeeper. You have experience running an autonomous profit centre within a standalone trade merchant or distributor.
• Strong understanding of construction distribution—product knowledge is less important than a proven track record of leading and growing a business in this space.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – you know how to identify opportunities, make commercial decisions, and scale a business.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment, where building relationships and maximising market share are key to success.
